"You don’t need words to tell a story if you have the power of photography."

Md Shahadat Hossain is a professional cinematographer from Bangladesh, with a cherished hobby in photography. Filmmaking and photography have always fascinated him, providing an avenue for self-expression and a source of happiness, especially during times of depression. These creative outlets have brought immense joy and fulfillment into his life. Throughout his career, countless projects showcase his dedication to the craft. One of the most significant projects is "Shonar Bangla," a year-long endeavor visually representing the major landscapes of Bangladesh set to the nation's anthem instrumental. This project highlights his ability to blend cultural pride with artistic expression. As a filmmaker, he has produced several documentaries addressing climate and social issues, along with short films currently competing in various festivals. In 2024, he received two honorable mentions from the World Masters of Photography and the Turkey Mobile Photography Award. Additionally, he was among the top 150 in the mobile photography category at the 35 Awards in 2024. His work has been published in the Albanian magazine "City In Summer," organized by the Tati Space Photography Center. His talent has also earned the winning spot at Boundless Pictures. Despite these achievements, he views this as just the beginning of a journey, with many more milestones to come.
